From 17 August 2026, the rules of the Commercial Register will change significantly. The new Act No. 29/2026 Coll. introduces legally binding online data, new rules for founding documents, a broader role for notaries, limited representation, and interconnection of registers. For entrepreneurs, this means less paperwork in some steps, but at the...

READY-MADE COMPANIES IN SLOVAKIA
A FAST WAY TO DO BUSINESS WITHOUT UNNECESSARY WAITING
If there is a need to start a business quickly and waiting for the establishment of an entirely new company is not an option, a ready-made company can be a very practical solution.
This is an already established company ready for transfer, which can then be adapted to individual needs. This section contains everything important related to ready-made companies in Slovakia – purchase of a non-VAT payer company, purchase of a VAT payer company, a list of available companies, the option to handle further steps related to VAT, as well as a virtual registered office in Bratislava.
This page is intended to serve as the main overview. It helps to understand the difference between individual options, when it is worth buying a company without VAT, when a company with VAT makes more sense, and what can be handled in a single step together with the transfer. This makes it possible to decide much faster without having to piece together information from several unclear subpages.
A ready-made company is not a universal solution for everyone. For some, it is ideal because it saves time. Others may prefer a new limited liability company established from scratch. If the choice is still not clear, this section also contains a simple comparison of the options and links to specific subpages according to individual needs.
Ready-made company is a solution for situations when there is no desire to wait for the complete process of setting up a new company and it is necessary to move on to the next step as quickly as possible. In practice, this is the moment when a business, project, client or partner is already prepared and it is clear that administration must not slow down the launch. In such cases, it makes sense to look at a ready-made company that is prepared for transfer and subsequent configuration according to specific needs.
I HAVE A NON-BINDING INTEREST IN A READY-MADE COMPANY

Quick overview
Ready-made company saves time especially when a business plan or client is already prepared.
It is possible to choose between a company that is a VAT payer, a non-VAT payer, or browse the list of currently available companies.
Attorney authorization required for the transfer – included in the price.
The purchase of the company can be immediately complemented with a virtual registered office, accounting, payroll and HR services.
If visibility and inquiries are to be addressed after launch, this is followed up with a website, SEO and Google Ads.
This page helps to navigate the entire ready-made branch. It explains when it makes sense to buy a company, how to decide between a company that is a VAT payer and a non-VAT payer, when it is worth checking the list of available companies, and why it pays off to arrange a virtual registered office already when buying the company. It is not just about having “some” company. What matters is having the right type of company for the specific business model.
It is possible to arrange not only the purchase of a ready-made company itself, but also follow-up services that turn it into a functional foundation for business. It is possible to build on this with a virtual registered office in Bratislava, outsourced accounting, payroll and HR services. And if business growth is also a priority, it is possible to add website creation, SEO marketing and management of PPC campaigns in Google Ads. This way, business does not start with a half-baked solution, but with an interconnected system of services that makes much more sense in the long term.
The ready-made branch is therefore intended for those who want to save time, but at the same time do not want to risk a hasty decision. It explains what options are available, what each variant means and which additional services are worth arranging together with the purchase of the company so that the start is truly smooth.
What is a ready-made company and what are its advantages
Ready-made company is an already established business prepared for transfer to a new owner. Its main advantage is above all its speed. There is no need to start the whole process from scratch; instead, a company is selected and then the necessary changes are prepared according to specific requirements.
The purpose of the entire service is not to skip everything without control, but to shorten the time needed to get to a functioning company and to avoid starting completely from zero. A well-chosen ready-made company should therefore not be just a shortcut, but a meaningful starting tool. When chosen well, it provides speed without losing control over the company’s future operations.
- a ready-made company is already established and registered in the Commercial Register of the Slovak Republic
- it was established exclusively for the purpose of being sold to a client
- it is economically clean, without liabilities or receivables, and has never carried out any activity
- it has its registered capital fully paid up
- it has a broad package of free trade licences
- it is immediately available; as a new managing director, it is possible to act on behalf of the company once the general meeting approves the appointment to the position
- it is ready for immediate sale – Company ID and Tax ID (and, where applicable, VAT ID, SK VAT) are available right away
When a ready-made company saves the most time
A ready-made solution makes the most sense when there is no room left to wait. This typically applies to projects under time pressure, with contracts already prepared, negotiations underway, or a need to enter into a business relationship as soon as possible. A ready-made company can also be a sensible choice when there is a need to separate a new project into an independent company without slowing down its launch with administrative delays.

Who it is suitable for
A ready-made company is usually suitable especially when:
- there is a need to start doing business as soon as possible,
- an already established company prepared for transfer is required,
- there is an effort to handle several steps in a single process,
- the registered office, a name change, or other adjustments are also being considered.
How the purchase and transfer take place
The process is usually simple. First, basic requirements are sent so it is clear what type of company is being sought. Then a suitable option is recommended, its suitability for the intended purpose is verified, and the process is set up so it is clear what follows before and after the transfer, and what information will be needed is specified.
It is important to understand from the beginning whether the process concerns a VAT payer company, a non-VAT payer company, with or without a registered office, and what further steps will be required after taking over the company.
After choosing the company, documents for the transfer and other changes are prepared. Once everything is completed, final documentation is provided and further steps can be taken depending on what is planned with the company.
Transfer of a ready-made company with attorney authorization included in the price
From 17 August 2026, new rules related to documents and their authorization apply when transferring a Slovak ready-made company. There is no need to look for a lawyer separately or deal with the price of authorization afterwards – the required lawyer’s authorization is arranged as part of the transfer process and its cost is already included in the price of the service.
For the cooperating lawyer to be able to carry out identification and authorization, 2 valid identity documents are required from every client to whom the authorized act relates. The specific documents and the method of submitting them are communicated during the preparation of the transfer.
If separate official or notarial verification of a signature is required for additional documents and this cannot be replaced by lawyer’s authorization, the costs of such verification are borne by the client.
VAT payer company or non-VAT payer company
How to choose the right option
Not every ready-made company is the same. What is advantageous for one entrepreneur may be unnecessarily complicated or overpriced for another. That is why it is important to decide based on how the future company will actually operate, not only on speed or price. For this reason, when choosing, the information provided is not only about what is possible, but also about what is reasonable. This helps avoid an unnecessarily complicated or prematurely expensive solution.
When choosing a ready-made company, it is important to know whether a company with VAT or a company without VAT is needed. This is not a minor detail, but one of the most important aspects when selecting the right option. Therefore, each of these topics has its own separate page, where only the relevant information for that specific option can be found.
If a company without VAT is needed, it is possible to click through to a dedicated page for this option. If a company with VAT is required, it can be found on a separate subpage. And if there is a need to work with available companies by type, it is also possible to open the list of companies and filter it according to the desired criteria.

VAT-registered company
If most business will take place in the B2B segment, if higher initial costs are planned, or if a VAT regime is needed from the very beginning, a VAT-registered company can be a logical choice. It is particularly suitable when waiting for further steps after purchasing the company would unnecessarily slow down business.

Company not registered for VAT
If a simpler start, lower administrative burden and not needing VAT yet are the priorities, a ready-made company without VAT may be more suitable. This solution is often chosen for services, smaller projects, or in situations where greater flexibility is preferred and VAT is postponed until the moment it starts to make real economic sense.

Virtual registered office as an add-on
Many entrepreneurs deal with the company’s registered address together with the purchase of the company. If there is no wish to link the registered office to a home address or there is an intention to have the company registered in Bratislava, a virtual office is a practical add-on that helps keep administration more organized from day one.
What you get after purchase
A good ready-made service does not end with the transfer of the company. On the contrary, it is precisely after the transfer that the period begins which determines whether the start of the business will be smooth or turn into a series of minor complications. A ready-made solution only makes sense if, after the purchase, it is possible to continue immediately. And that is exactly what this branch is built for – to ensure the company is not only transferred, but also prepared for real business.

Administrative Start
After buying a company, it is necessary to be clear about the next steps: registered office, accounting, documents, internal setup, and possibly questions related to VAT. When everything is handled in one place, there is no need to look for additional suppliers and explain the same things multiple times.

Operational Start and Growth
A company by itself does not generate inquiries. That is why, after the administrative launch, it is possible to follow up with services that help get the company off the ground externally – website creation, SEO marketing, and PPC campaigns in Google Ads. This is exactly the synergistic effect of having everything under one roof: from the company itself all the way to the first clients.
Why use our services
- fast and hassle-free company sale within 1 day
- only 2 identity documents are required for identification by a lawyer (usually an ID card and driver’s license or passport)
- no criminal record extract is required
- if an in-person meeting is not convenient, there is no need to travel anywhere, everything can be handled remotely by correspondence
- it is also possible to meet in person at offices in Bratislava, Brno or Prague!
What can be arranged together with the company
In addition to purchasing a company itself, it is possible to arrange other practical matters. Very often this includes a virtual registered office in Bratislava, changes to company details, or administrative steps that follow the selected option. This is a major advantage, as it makes it possible to handle more matters within a single communication.

6. Is a ready-made company safe?

First, a suitable company is selected, then the transfer documents are prepared and the changes to be made in the company are agreed. After signing, the registration of changes in the Commercial Register is arranged and the company comes under your control.
10. Where can I find specific offers from companies?
On the related pages List of Companies and List of VAT-Registered Companies there is space for an overview of available companies and easier navigation when making a selection.
11. Is it possible to complete the entire process of buying a company remotely?
Yes. If there is an interest in arranging the purchase of the company without a personal meeting, all the necessary documents will be sent by e-mail with the required instructions. The signature on the documents is then verified by a notary and sent back. Everything else is taken care of.
12. What happens after I submit a non-binding order?
After sending the non-binding order, all necessary information and instructions will be sent by e-mail. Depending on the nature of the request, a phone call may also be arranged to go through everything together. Once all the necessary details are received, all documents will be prepared and sent by e-mail along with instructions.
Non-binding order
Fill in all the required details and a response will be sent as soon as possible.
Choose whether you want a VAT payer company, a non-VAT payer company, or if you first want to view the available companies. A safe and clear process will be prepared from choosing the company all the way to its actual operation.
