PRICE LIST OF SLOVAK COMPANIES

FORMATION OF A LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY | SALE OF READY-MADE COMPANIES | VAT | VIRTUAL OFFICE

With a Slovak company, there is no need to piece together the price from several unclear items. In one place, it is possible to find prices for setting up a new limited liability company, purchasing a ready-made company, options with VAT registration, as well as a virtual registered office in Bratislava.

A solution can be chosen depending on whether a new company is to be started from scratch, an existing company prepared for transfer is needed, or VAT and a professional registered office address are to be added to the company. For each option below, not only the price is explained, but also the situation the service is intended for and what can be expected from it.

If it is not clear which option is suitable, there is no need to decide based on price alone. The business plan can be sent and assistance will be provided in choosing a solution that matches how quickly operations should start, what VAT regime is required, and whether there is already a registered office.

Attorney authorization is already included in the price

When establishing a Slovak limited liability company (s. r. o.) or when purchasing a ready-made company, all required documents are authorized by a cooperating attorney. There is no extra charge for authorization – it is included in the listed service price.

For identification by the cooperating attorney, 2 valid identity documents are required. Any additional official or notarial verification of signatures that is not replaced by attorney authorization is paid by the client.

How to choose between forming a new company and a ready-made company

Establishing a new limited liability company is suitable when the goal is to set the company name, registered office, shareholders, managing directors and business activities from the very beginning according to a specific plan. A ready-made company is especially suitable when speed is important and there is an interest in taking over an already existing company and then adjusting its details as needed.

If VAT is important for the business model, the price list contains separate options for subsequent registration as well as ready-made companies with the relevant VAT status. When choosing, it is therefore advisable to compare three things: time, the required VAT regime and the scope of changes that need to be made in the company.

READY-MADE companies

A ready-made limited liability company is an already existing company prepared for transfer. According to the current SKCompanies offer, these are companies established in 2026, presented as 100% clean, with their registered office in Bratislava. The specific price depends mainly on the VAT status and on whether the VAT registration is arranged only after the purchase or the company already has it.

The main advantage of a ready-made solution is speed: instead of creating a new legal entity, an existing company is taken over and the transfer and required changes are handled. The company name, registered office, executive director or business activities can be adjusted according to the specific order and the possibilities of the given case.

What typically changes with a ready-made company

After selecting a specific company, transfer documents are prepared according to the client’s requirements and the changes to be made in the company are agreed. Typical changes include in particular the company name, registered office, managing director, shareholder and business activities.

The current availability of specific ready-made companies may vary. It is therefore advisable to work with an up-to-date list and a reservation of a specific company, not only with the general price of a category.

How the cooperation works

  1. Select a service or describe your goal. If you are not sure which option you need, just state whether you want a new or a ready-made company, which VAT regime you are dealing with, and whether you need a registered office.
  2. We will confirm the suitable option and the required documents. For a ready-made company, we will also verify the current availability of the specific company.
  3. We will prepare the documents and send instructions for the next steps.
  4. After signing, we will arrange the follow-up steps according to the ordered service and agreed scope.
  5. After completion, it is possible to continue with a virtual registered office, accounting, or other SKCompanies services as needed.

What can affect the final scope of the service

The price list above is based on standard options. A specific case may require additional steps depending on the client, the requested changes, documents, or related services. For this reason, in the case of a non-standard setup, it is recommended to confirm the scope before starting.

  • the number and type of requested changes in the ready-made company,
  • the required VAT regime and the related registration process,
  • the need for a virtual registered office or mail forwarding,
  • specific documents depending on the founder, shareholder, or executive,
  • additional services that are not listed in the specific price list item.

When establishing a company and transferring a ready-made company, attorney authorization is required and is included in the price of the standard service. However, the client bears the costs of any additional official or notarial certification of signatures if required by a specific document or situation and if it is not an act covered by the attorney authorization.

Questions and Answers | FAQ

1. Why is an s.r.o. the most common choice for doing business in Slovakia?

S.R.O. is popular because it appears trustworthy, is suitable for a wide range of activities, and at the same time creates a clear legal framework for doing business. For many companies, it is a standard form that works well both for trading and for business growth.

2. How long does it take to register a company in the Commercial Register?

Establishing a limited liability company takes approximately 10 days. The establishment of an s. r. o. is first processed by an employee of the Trade Licensing Office and subsequently by an employee (court clerk) of the Commercial Register.

3. What do I need to set up a company?

It is necessary to have a selected company name, registered office, business activities, executive director, shareholder and the basic setup of the company. In some cases, additional documents are required depending on the identity of the founder or the nature of the activity.

4. What are the main advantages of buying a ready-made company?

The biggest advantage is speed. There is no need to wait for the entire incorporation process, as the company already exists, and after the transfer it is only necessary to make adjustments according to specific needs, such as the name, registered office, executive director or business activities.

5. How does the purchase of a ready-made company in Slovakia work?

First, a suitable company is selected, then the transfer documents are prepared and the changes to be made in the company are agreed. After signing, the registration of changes in the Commercial Register is arranged and the company comes under your control.

6. How soon can I start doing business after purchasing a ready-made company?

The company itself already exists, which makes the process significantly faster than starting from scratch. The exact time depends on the type of required changes and the speed of official processing, but a ready-made solution is generally the fastest way to a fully operational company.

7. How long does it take to register changes to a company in the Commercial Register?

The District Court is required by law to register a change of company shareholder within two days. In most cases, however, this deadline is not met and the transfer of the company takes longer.

8. Do I have to pay up the share capital of €5,000 when establishing the company?

No. As of 01/10/2020, it is no longer necessary for an entrepreneur to have the amount of €5,000 and deposit it into a bank account. Payment of the registered capital is demonstrated by a written declaration of the contribution administrator, whose signature must be officially certified.

9. Do I have to pay up the share capital when purchasing the company?

No. All of our companies already have their registered capital fully paid up, so there is no need to pay it in.

10. Is it possible to handle the entire company purchase process remotely?

Yes. If there is an interest in completing the purchase of the company without a personal meeting, all the necessary documents will be sent by e-mail with the required instructions. The only thing that needs to be done is to have the signature on the documents verified by a notary and then send them back. Everything else will be taken care of.

11. What happens after submitting a non-binding order?

After sending the non-binding order, all necessary information and instructions will be sent by e-mail. Depending on the nature of the request, there may also be a phone call to go through everything together. Once all the necessary details are received, all documents will be prepared and sent by e-mail along with instructions.

Non-binding order

Fill in all the required details and a response will be sent as soon as possible.

Do not choose a company only based on the lowest price. Choose a solution that matches how quickly you want to start, what VAT regime you need, and what should be set up in the company right from the beginning.

Send us the basic parameters. If you want a ready-made company, we will check the current offer. If you want a new S. R. O., we will set the next steps according to your requirements.
