For a VAT-registered company, the worst filter is “it has a VAT ID, so it’s fine.” In 2026, the official VAT Register makes it possible to verify much more: the type of registration, the status as a payer or identified person, and information about unreliability. This is only the first layer of control.
STARTING A BUSINESS | CZECHIA
ESTABLISH S. R. O. | ONLINE | WITHOUT HAVING TO TRAVEL TO CZECHIA
SET UP A CZECH LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY
TURNKEY FROM SLOVAKIA | NO NEED TO TRAVEL TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Want a Czech S. R. O. under your own name, with your own structure and without unnecessary trips to the Czech Republic?
Instead of you, we will arrange a turnkey company formation – from checking the business name and securing the registered office to the notary, trade licences, registration in the Commercial Register and the practical launch of the company.
The entire standard process can be completed from Slovakia. The documents are prepared in advance, it is explained which signatures need to be certified, and, depending on the specific case, representation is arranged on the basis of a power of attorney or an online notarial act. There is no need to look for a Czech notary, communicate with authorities or study the differences between Czech and Slovak procedures. The data and decisions are provided; the individual steps are coordinated and ongoing updates are provided.
Even before the company is established, it is clarified who will be the shareholder and executive, what the shares and method of acting will be, where the registered office will be and what the company will do. At the same time, a suitable VAT regime is selected: the company can start as a non-payer, it can register for selected cross-border transactions as an EU VAT payer – an identified person – or, after meeting the conditions, it can apply for full CZ VAT payer status with the possibility of VAT deduction.
After registration, assistance is provided with access to and optional management of the data box on mojedatovaschranka.cz, bank onboarding and handing over documents to an authorised Czech accounting partner. Accounting services are not provided directly; instead, a partner is arranged who holds the necessary licence for this regulated trade.
The service is suitable for individuals, Slovak companies establishing a Czech subsidiary, multiple shareholders and projects with an investor. A specific schedule, a clear breakdown of costs and a single coordinator for the entire process are provided. The result is not just an entry in the register, but a Czech company ready for real business.

- s. r. o. = limited liability company
- a company shareholder is liable for the company’s obligations only up to the amount of their unpaid contribution
- possible abbreviations: s. r. o., spol. s r. o.
- the most common legal form of business company in the Czech Republic
- minimum registered capital (share capital) = CZK 1
- a shareholder can be either a natural person or a legal entity
- number of shareholders = 1 to 50
- the company’s statutory body = executive director, with an unlimited possible number of executive directors
- an s. r. o. may have additional (optional) bodies = procuration holder (statutory representative), supervisory board (control body)
Who the service is suitable for
For an individual who wants their own Czech company, for a multi-member team, and for a Slovak company establishing a subsidiary limited liability company. It is suitable when there is time to go through the full incorporation process and when the name, documents, and structure should be created specifically to fit the needs of the founder.
Tailor-made incorporation is recommended when an investor is entering, when shares are not equal, when directors act jointly, when there are specific rights, or when it is necessary to adjust the rules beyond a simple template. If the deadline is urgent, a ready-made company may be more suitable.
Company formation without traveling to the Czech Republic
With standard incorporation, there is no need to visit a Czech notary or authorities in person. Based on the chosen procedure, a power of attorney or an online notarial meeting will be prepared, and detailed instructions for signatures and certifications in Slovakia will be sent in advance. All documents are checked before being sent so that the process is not delayed due to missing information or an incorrect form of signature.
Remotely, it is possible to coordinate the name check, registered office, incorporation details, notary, trade licences, and registration in the Commercial Register. The bank account is handled separately, as each bank has its own client identification rules. Supporting documents will be prepared for that as well and a practical procedure will be selected; any need for a personal visit will be known even before submitting the application.
What you gain
A new Czech limited liability company will be set up with its own name, company ID number, registered office and selected business activities. The documentation will be based on the agreed structure. After registration, all documents and a list of subsequent steps will be handed over.
If the extended package is ordered, the service will continue with data mailbox management, invoicing details, VAT process, bank onboarding and virtual office, and, if needed, connection with an authorised partner for accounting and payroll. The goal is for the company to be able to operate in practice, not just exist in the register.
How the process works

Step 1: Task
You fill in the details about the founders, managing directors, company name, registered office, capital and business activities. At the same time, you indicate whether you will mainly trade in the Czech Republic, Slovakia or throughout the EU, and whether you need a non-VAT payer, an EU VAT payer or a Czech VAT payer. Based on this information, a specific procedure and a list of documents will be prepared.
Step 2: Documentation
Preparation of documents for the foundation deed, registered office consent, managing directors’ declarations and other annexes. For a foreign legal entity, extracts and authorizations are added.
Step 3: Notary and Trades
We coordinate a notary and arrange the registration of free trade licenses or the procedure for proving professional competence. Under the standard setup, a power of attorney or an online notarial procedure is used, so there is no need to travel to the Czech Republic. For craft or regulated trades, professional competence or the need for a responsible representative is verified in advance.
Step 4: Commercial Register
The filing or direct registration will be arranged according to the chosen procedure. The company is established upon its entry in the Commercial Register.
Step 5: Operational Start
We coordinate the involvement of an authorized accounting partner, check the data mailbox, prepare invoicing details, bank onboarding and other registrations. For VAT, a dedicated project is set up with evidence of economic activity.
Time is crucial when setting up an S. R. O.
Within approximately 10 days, a Czech company is established exactly according to the specified requirements. Based on the provided information about the S. R. O. structure (business name, registered office, executive director, shareholder, business activities and more), all documents necessary for the incorporation of the new company are prepared – they only need to be signed and certified by a notary. The incorporation of a business company, despite today’s simplified process, still involves a complex set of professional steps required for the correct registration of companies in the Commercial Register.
Establishing a new company WITHOUT RISK
Avoid the risk and entrust the entire process of setting up a new company. Establishing a new company in the Czech Republic is a process that requires knowledge of the relevant laws and a solid amount of practical experience. That is why it is worth using many years of extensive experience, and setting up a company will be a breeze!
There is an opportunity to establish a company professionally, discreetly and quickly! A new limited liability company will be established for an unbeatable price.
It is NOT necessary to travel to the Czech Republic to sign the documents!
Non-payer, EU VAT payer or CZ VAT payer
For a new company, the VAT setup is configured according to the actual business model. Non-payer status is suitable when the company does not yet need the full VAT regime. “EU VAT payer” is the internal label used for an identified person in selected cross-border transactions; for the companies offered, the relevant legal provision is indicated, usually within the scope of Sections 6g to 6l. An identified person is not a standard VAT payer for regular Czech supplies and does not claim input VAT deduction in the same way as a full VAT payer.
“CZ VAT payer” is a standard Czech VAT payer, in the offers labelled according to the relevant provisions within the scope of Sections 6 to 6f. If the statutory conditions are met, it can claim VAT deductions and is particularly suitable for B2B trade, projects with higher input costs, or Czech partners who expect full VAT status.
When applying for voluntary VAT registration of a new company, evidence of economic activity is prepared together with the client: contracts, orders, business plan, suppliers, financing, and a description of real operations. The final decision is made by the Czech tax authority. In cases of urgent need for an existing VAT status, a comparison is also provided between setting up a new company and purchasing a ready-made CZ or EU VAT payer.
Data mailbox management

A Czech limited liability company (s. r. o.) automatically obtains a data mailbox on the portal mojedatovaschranka.cz upon registration. It is the Czech equivalent of the electronic official mailbox on slovensko.sk. Decisions, notices, and other documents from authorities are delivered through this mailbox, so it needs to be checked regularly.
Support is provided with the first login, permissions, email notifications, and setting up secure message delivery. It is also possible to order regular management of the data mailbox. When a new message arrives, a notification is sent and, according to the agreed scope, it is forwarded either to the client or to a designated professional partner.
Accounting through an authorized Czech partner

Czech accounting services are not provided directly, because bookkeeping and tax record-keeping are regulated trades in the Czech Republic. However, it is possible to recommend or arrange a partner who holds the necessary authorization and can take over the company from the very first accounting transaction.
The founding documents, invoicing details, VAT regime information and the agreed method of document exchange are handed over to the accounting partner. This means there is no need to navigate the Czech accounting market alone and the company can start operating with clearly defined responsibilities.
What is included in the price
The exact package is provided in writing. It may include a consultation, name check, preparation of data and documents, coordination with a notary, basic trade licence, registered office and registration. The fee, mandatory charges and optional services are always listed separately.
Complex partnership agreements, regulated activities, translations, responsible representative, VAT, bank services, intermediation and services of an authorised accounting partner, payroll and other registrations are priced individually. This transparency makes it possible to compare offers based on their actual scope.
The price for establishing a Czech company includes:

Additional costs and actions!

What will be needed

- partners’ details and the amount of their shares,

What to watch out for
The greatest savings come from setting everything up correctly even before signing the founding document. With two or more partners, the process covers decision-making, contract signing, financing, transfer of shares, and the exit of a partner. A simple template may be suitable for a single owner, while an individual articles of association provide better protection for a more complex project.
Equally important is the first day after registration. That is why the data mailbox, invoicing details, VAT regime, and handover to the accounting partner are all set up before the first transaction. Instead of a list of risks, there is a concrete checklist specifying who will secure what and by when.

JMHZ 2026: what a new Czech limited liability company needs to know when it starts taking on staff
If a new Czech limited liability company wants to employ people in 2026, it needs to know the abbreviation JMHZ. The Single Monthly Employer Report, effective from 1 April 2026, significantly changes the way companies submit data to the state. The system is intended to replace up to 25 different reports with a single electronic monthly filing.
The list of ready-made companies should be a decision-making tool, not just a table of names. In 2026, for a Czech company, at minimum the year of incorporation, VAT regime, registered office, share capital, availability and scope of documentation should be visible – and at the same time it should be clear what will change after the transfer.
A non-VAT payer can be a very practical regime for a newly established Czech limited liability company. However, in 2026 an important rule applies: “I am not a VAT payer” does not mean “I don’t have to deal with VAT”. Even a simple purchase of advertising from Google or Meta, or certain services from abroad, can create the status of...
